About Me

I was born towards the end of the 20th century and will die in the 21st; grew up with Tom Waits, Pink Floyd & Jethro Tull, picked up classical guitar at 13, was kindly forced to expand to bass and voice in the metal bands that followed, played a lot of pop, some jazz, got played in the radio, played 600 shows, studied literature, had a kid. Somewhere in between I started writing and producing my own music, which is still the most fun yours truly can have with his clothes on.

  1. Hi, I was wondering if you have a lead sheet put together for Esperanza Spalding’s version of “I Can’t Help it”. I’m working on an all-vocal arrangement and am trying to nail the chord progression and associated scales down. Any help you can provide would be great. Great work so far!

  2. yes, I did. Thanks! The arrangement is coming along nicely…

  3. I have a finale file of the first part of the arrangement — it’s acapella for five voices. If you send me an email at vocaljazz32@gmail.com I will send you what I have so far. I could also just send it to you once we get our group together and record it. Let me know which you want to do…
